News Press to comment: "It was an altogether magnetic
musical experience"
After coaching
Minister Louis Farrakhan for his performance of the
Beethoven Violin Concerto, Ms. Agus served as Concertmaster
of the orchestra under conductor David Warble.

Soloist in the
Chopin Piano concerto in F. Keyboardist, emulating the
orchestra in Bartok's Dance Suite and the Brahms Variations
on a Theme by Haydn.
Agus knew her solo role. Full
of spirit and melodic sense, her tone is refined and sensitive to
nuance and she is capable of a bold flair at the right time. Buffalo News
Before another word
is said about the soloist, something bordering on extravagance must
be accorded the pianist, Ayke Agus, for her accompaniments, which
were nothing short of superb! Rarely does one hear a more precise
and sensitive collaboration than she supplied--authoritative yet
always subservient, crystal clear yet warmly blending, and of
pinpoint accuracy in the timing. Emporia [Kansas] Gazette
Agus, exceptionally
fluent, graceful and accurate at the keyboard, is the sort of
apparently easygoing, technically whiz-bang pianist, that other
pianists talk about with awe. Los Angeles Times
Agus was a standout,
imparting a singing glow even in her scale passages. Los Angeles Times
Agus displayed her
abilities equally well on both piano and violin, expressive, full of
brilliance when required. Indonesia Post
The performance
benefited from especially subtle and sensitive playing by Agus and
an intensity level that rose as the work proceeded. Los Angeles Times

Ayke Agus, the
justifiably admired Southern California pianist, joined the quartet
for a happy traversal of Dvorak's Quintet in A, Opus 81. With
abundant resources of plangent tone, effortless technique and
collaborative skills, Agus is a wonderful pianist. Los Angeles Times
