Elena Fomicheva

Ms. Fomicheva had started her piano studies at the age of six in St. Petersburg. In 2006 she graduated from the Modest Mussorgsky Music College and was directly accepted into the St. Petersburg Conservatory, from which she graduated in 2011 with top marks.

Ms. Fomicheva received numerous awards, among others:

• 2006 First Prize in Collaborative Arts Competition at the Mussorgsky College

• 2010 Grand Prix for the best soloist with orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments "The Carousel Orchestra"

• Awards at various competitions for young talents in Gatchina, Russia

Note performances:

• 2005 Toured with the St. Petersburg Students Orchestra throughout Europe, winning the First Prize in Prague.

• 2009 Soloist at gala concerts at Sharm-El-Sheikh, Egypt

• 2011 Recital with Ayke Agus, Los Angeles

• 2011 Jascha Heifetz documentary premiere "God's Fiddler" - Recital with Ayke Agus at the House of Composers, St. Petersburg
